When I began my spiritual journey, I started writing/journaling about different areas of my life (marriage, past experiences, hidden trauma, grief, and my salvation). Before I knew it, I had nearly filled up an entire notebook. I knew God had His hands in this because as I was writing I was being transformed. I prayed and asked Him what I should do with it because I knew He did not have me to write all of it just to keep it to myself; especially if it could help someone else. When the time was right, He gave me His answer and placed it on my heart to start this blog—to share with others the good news of His awesome power to Redeem, Restore and Renew! Nervously, yet obediently, I obeyed.

“Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways. When you eat the labor of your hands, you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.” Psalm 128:1-2

It is never easy being transparent and vulnerable and openly sharing your life for the world to judge, but if my experiences can help encourage, strengthen, and uplift someone else, then in the end it will be all worth it. Stay in faith and always remember that God is Able!
